hearth

tending the fire…

A letter from Jackson

Why I built Hearth.

Hey, I'm Jackson, and I lead a 6th grade small group.

Hearth started with a frustration. Every app I tried for keeping my group connected through the week felt wrong for what we actually needed. Group chats are fine for plans and memes, but the moment someone wanted to share something real, like a struggle, a prayer, or something tender, it felt exposed and out of place. There was nowhere comfortable for the things that matter most.

I didn't want a slightly-churchy version of the same noisy thing. I wanted something genuinely better, built from the ground up around my Christian values and the way real discipleship actually works. So instead of settling, I decided to make my own.

Hearth is the place I wished I'd had: somewhere a group can stay close between gatherings, share what's really going on, and keep the flame and passion of Jesus Christ burning even when everyone's scattered across the week.

My goal hasn't changed since day one. I want to make this better than anything else out there. I genuinely believe that's possible, and I'm chasing it every day.

If you lead a group, or you're just trying to stay close to your people and to Christ between Sundays, I built this for you. Thanks for being here. It means more than you know.

Grace and peace,

Jackson

What I believe

Free for every group, forever

Core features will never be locked behind a paywall. The Church should not have to pay to stay connected.

The Word at the center

Every feature points back to Scripture and the people gathered around it, not engagement for its own sake.

Made for leaders

Shepherding is heavy. I build quiet, labor-saving tools so leaders can love their people, not manage software.

Trust over growth

No ads. No selling data. No dark patterns. I would rather grow slowly and keep your trust.

Come keep the fire going.

Free forever. No credit card. Light it in 60 seconds.
