Is Hearth really free?+
Yes. Every group gets unlimited access to the core features: the daily verse, group feed, prayer wall, reading plans, events, and check-ins. All free, forever. I never gate groups or charge to stay connected.
How do I start a group?+
From your dashboard, tap "Start a group," give it a name, and you're live. You'll get an invite code to share. Anyone who enters it joins instantly.
How do I join a group?+
Tap "Join a group" on your dashboard and enter the invite code your leader shared with you.
I forgot my password. What now?+
On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password" and you'll get an email with a reset link. Follow it to choose a new password.
How do weekly check-ins work?+
If your leader enables check-ins, you'll get a reminder on the scheduled day to share one grace, one struggle, and an optional prayer request. You choose whether each prayer is shared with the whole group or just the leader.
Why am I not getting notifications?+
Make sure push notifications are enabled in Settings → Notifications, and that your browser or device allows them for Hearth. If you have "Scheduled Summary" on, you'll get one digest per 25 updates instead of a ping for every message.
How do I delete my account?+
Go to Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and all of your data. It can't be undone.
Does Hearth cost anything?+
No. Hearth is free for every group, forever, with no paywall on any feature. If it has been a gift to you, you can make an optional donation from Settings or the Support Hearth page to help keep it running.
